This is the plain-speak version of our Terms of Purchase.

We’re here to make real progress together. That means keeping things fair, simple, transparent, and accountable. We’ll show up and do the work with care and efficiency. This document outlines how you can do the same, so we can create the results we’re aiming for.

By checking the box at checkout, you agree to these MBA Guided Quest Fair Play Terms (v1.0) and the 7-Day Coach‑Fit Reserve Guarantee, each incorporated by reference into the MBA Guided Quest Terms of Purchase (v3.0). In any conflict, the Terms of Purchase control.

1. Integrity & Authorship

  • We don’t ghostwrite or plagiarize. You author drafts; we thought‑partner, coach, edit, and train communication skills.
  • No admission guarantees. Results vary by inputs, effort, and school choices.

2. Scope, Deliverables, and Results

Work Process

  • Endtoend strategy + scoped application execution: we plan your full portfolio (5-7 schools for most) and execute application build for the schools you select per the SLAs of your package: “coached schools”
  • Packages include story discovery, narrative strategy, school selection, career gameplanning, resume overhaul, recommender brief/strategy, school‑specific essays, and interview prep resources. Specific inclusions by service in Appendix A of Terms of Purchase.
  • “Unlimited drafts” = iterative edits within purchased scope, timeline, and deadlines (2 document rounds per week, 2 school max in parallel, no same‑day turnaround unless purchased as a Rush Review fee).

School Portfolio & Odds

  • Portfolio calibration: We use our MBAmo Odds Calculator to calibrate your school portfolio and document risk bands (Reach/Match/Safer) before drafting. You make the final call; we support any schools you choose.
  • Risk transparency: Your final “School Portfolio Matrix” is locked before drafting.

One Admit LFG Guarantee:

  • What it is: If you do everything right and get zero admits, you get a seat in the next MBA LFG (Level Up, Focus, Get In: Our 7-week pre-deadline sprint program) cohort at no charge. No cash refunds.
  • To qualify (all required)
  1. Complete MBAmo and, with us, finalize a written School Portfolio Risk Matrix before drafting.
  2. Apply to at least 5 schools (included coached schools and schools completed without coach support) and include at least 1 safer school per 5. (Your coach will help you choose a risk-balanced portfolio.)
  3. Hit every key milestone and your Materials Hands‑Off deadline for coach‑assisted schools.
  4. Implement coach feedback in good faith (attend required sessions, use our templates, adopt the strategy/revisions).
  • When it triggers: You receive zero offers of admission from the covered round. Any admit (including from a safer school) satisfies the objective and voids the guarantee. Waitlists don’t count unless they convert to admits.
  • What’s included: one LFG cohort seat under current LFG scope/terms; excludes: 1:1 services, add‑ons, Priority/Rush Review turnaround, extra schools (available at current rates); non‑transferable, no cash value, must be used within 12 months unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Results & Proof

  • We lead with proof. We publish real de-identified outcomes (admits, scholarships, case studies).
  • Please share your outcomes. After each milestone (submit, interview invite, admit, scholarship), we’ll prompt you for results and celebrate them. Anonymized outcomes may be used for educational/proof purposes; named/image testimonials only with your explicit consent.

3. Payments & Plans

Simple Pricing

  • Straight prices, no nickel‑and‑diming: flat per‑school pricing at your service band of choice (package); no per‑minute billing; no “because‑of‑the‑school” surcharges.

Payment Plans Available

  • Pay‑in‑full may include immediate‑value bonuses.
  • Payment plans available; missed payments pause work until resolved.

Upgrades and Add‑Ons

  • Add a school anytime: +$3,000 per school (at your current package SLA).
  • Add‑ons priced separately: Home Stretch Flex Insurance, Rush Review (expedited review), Interview Packs, etc.
  • Upgrade anytime at current list rates with the same coach. We credit 100% of amounts paid on this engagement toward the higher tier and reprice to today’s rate; a $500 re‑scope/transition fee applies. Prior promos/credits don’t carry forward.

4. Refunds

7-Day Coach‑Fit Reserve Guarantee only (see below). After coach selection or Day 7 (whichever comes first), all payments are non‑refundable, including add-on and extra pack purchases.

5. Turnaround Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Deliverable speed

  • Standard review: 2–3 business days (midnight – midnight Pacific time); Priority: 24–48 business hours; Rush Review: ≤1 business day (where purchased). SLAs apply to active items only.
  • Messages: 2 business days.
  • If we miss an SLA without letting you know in advance (e.g. coach is taking brief sick or personal leave), we add a “Priority Turnaround Week” credit during drafting.
  • United States public holidays excluded from turnaround. Business hours and holiday schedules published in advance.

Work‑In‑Progress Caps

  • Up to 2 schools active at a time; others queued. Up to 2 revision rounds per document per week.

Work Product Freeze

  • Within 7 days of a school deadline, we accept only light edits. Structural rewrites require deferring to a later round or Rush Review fees to finish on time, pending coach availability.

School Portfolio Changes

  • School 1 is locked in week 1 and cannot be changed beyond 14 days without a fee; remaining schools chosen later.
  • Once a coach has reviewed one draft of one essay, recommendation memo, or short answer document for a given school’s application; that school counts as one of your package schools and cannot be substituted.

Interview Packs

  • Interview Resources are included in all packages; Mocks are scoped by package (See Appendix A of Terms of Purchase). Additional Mocks are available as Interview Packs (per‑Mock, per-school, or all‑access).

6. Submission Windows & Rescheduling

  • We sell work product completion windows (round seats): You commit to completing all coach‑assisted applications for one application round with one Materials Hands‑Off Day.
  • Materials Hands‑Off Day (pick one): 2025–26 season: Dec 12, Dec 19, Jan 9, Jan 21. 2026–27 season: Aug 10, Aug 20, Sep 11, Sep 25, Oct 16, Nov 6, Dec 13, Dec 20, Jan 8, Jan 22.
  • Deadline alignment: Your Hands‑Off Day must be in the same round as your earliest planned school deadline; no straddling rounds for coached schools.
  • Commitment + 14‑day grace: By end of Week 1 lock your Hands‑Off date and School 1. One Hands-Off Day amendment within 14 days of kickoff, no fee. After Day 14, changing your Hands‑Off Day or School 1 incurs a $1,000 Change Fee (R1 to R1) or a $3,000 Change Fee (Moving R1 to R2) unless you purchased Home‑Stretch Flex Insurance by Day 14.
  • Home‑Stretch Flex Insurance (optional): Buy by Day 14 to cover one (1) post‑Day‑14 Hands‑Off change or School 1 swap without the $3,000 fee. Single‑use; non‑transferable; non‑refundable; capacity permitting. If unused by submission, we apply a $1,000 credit to an Interview Pack or other bonus pack (no cash value).
  • Early‑Completion Credit: Choose Aug 10, Aug 20, Dec 12, or Dec 19 and hit all three milestones (1) You Discovery™  + Draft 1 by Kickoff + 21 days; (2) School 1 essays final by Kickoff + 44 days; (3) all school materials complete by your early Hands‑Off date) → earn a $1,500 credit toward any one bonus pack (interviews, post‑submission guidance, recruiting prep). No cash refunds; unused credit expires at season end. Miss any milestone → credit forfeited.
  • Holiday Overrun Surcharge: If you select Dec 12 or Dec 19 and, due to client delays, work continues past Dec 19, a $500 per‑document‑draft surcharge applies (assessed once per document; package SLAs apply; Rush Review fees are separate). “Document draft” = each primary essay, short‑answer set, or resume.

7. Communications & Platforms

We deliver via email, the Happy at Work Community platform and app, and scheduled Google Meet/Zoom calls (Coaches don’t use SMS/phone; ops may for scheduling). Enable notifications, ensure you are subscribed to MBA Protocol marketing/service emails, and meet shared deadlines. Opting out may delay service.

8. Confidentiality

  • You own your materials; we keep your information confidential, including all 1:1 calls between you and your coach if you request they be recorded.
  • We may share anonymized outcomes/testimonials for educational/proof purposes; named/image testimonials only with explicit consent.
  • We have an awesome online community you are invited to join and participate in. Participation is optional. If you do so, you agree to participate transparently and to keep other community members’ info confidential.
  • We never share any identifiable information about you outside our closed community without permission.

9. IP, No Sharing, No‑Competitive‑Use

  • All program materials (content, frameworks, templates, videos, recordings, methods) are Career Protocol/ MBA Protocol IP. Personal, non‑transferable license for your individual use only.
  • You will not copy/share/distribute/publish/train on/reverse‑engineer or use our materials to build/support any competing product/service.
  • You represent and warrant that, as of purchase and throughout your engagement, you are not employed by, contracting with, or advising any MBA admissions or career‑coaching competitor, and you covenant not to use our materials to do so, directly or indirectly, without our prior written consent. Breach may result in immediate termination and injunctive relief. This section survives termination.

10. Conduct

  • Zero tolerance for harassment/abuse toward staff or cohorts. Violations may result in removal without refund.

11. Non‑Affiliation & Fair Use

  • Not affiliated with or endorsed by any university. School names/logos used for identification only.

Additional terms

Changes & Versioning

  • Your checkout captures the version of these terms in force. Updates apply prospectively.

Group Session Recordings

(These terms apply to attendees of any of our group coaching or office-hour calls, an elective element of your package.)

  • Group session recordings: We record group sessions (audio/video/screenshare) and capture related content (chat, Q&A, posts, submissions) (“Recordings” and “Contributions”). By participating, you consent to recording and internal replay use within our programs and services (current and future).
  • External use requires consent: We will not use your name, image, voice, or identifiable content outside our programs without your explicit written consent via a separate Media Release. You may withdraw consent at any time for future use (not retroactive).
  • Anonymized learnings: We may use de-identified insights (no names/faces/identifiers) to improve products and training.
  • No confidentiality in groups: Do not share sensitive information you want kept private.
  • Options: Keep camera/mic off, use an alias, or request reasonable accommodations at [email protected].
  • Data retention: Recordings may be retained indefinitely; takedown requests will be honored prospectively on our channels.

What it covers

  • Fit with your primary coach before You Discovery™  begins.
  • Scheduling responsiveness tied to SLAs.

How it works

  • Pay today to reserve your coach and start window.
  • Within 7 days of payment, meet up to two coaches (25 minutes each).
  • If you don’t feel a fit after up to two interviews, request a full refund within the 7‑day window—no questions asked.
  • After you select a coach, or after Day 7 (whichever comes first), your reservation becomes non‑refundable.

Scheduling SLAs (and remedies)

  • Coach 1 interview offered within 2 business days of payment; Coach 2 (if requested) within 3 business days of the first.
  • We’ll provide at least three time options per interview (Pacific Time).
  • If we miss either SLA, we add a Priority Turnaround Week during drafting (service credit; no cash).

Exclusions

  • Outcome dissatisfaction (admission/scholarship) is not covered.
  • Refunds are not available after Day 7 or once a coach is selected (whichever occurs first).
  • If you do not schedule or attend within the 7‑day window despite available slots, the window still counts and payment becomes non‑refundable.

How to claim

  • Email [email protected] with subject “Coach‑Fit Refund,” include your order ID and a one‑line “why no fit” statement. We process within 5–7 business days to the original method.

After the window

  • Within 7 days of kickoff, you may request one reassignment of your primary coach.
  • Our SLAs remain in force (Standard 2–3 biz days; Priority 24–48h). If we miss an SLA, we apply a Priority Turnaround Week service credit. No cash refunds post‑activation.
